What are you praying?

Often when we pray it reads like a shopping list of things and want and need from God. I’ve often wondered how our pray differs from those Christians in third-world and underdeveloped nations where food, shelter, and protection are not a “given.” In the US we often fail to look beyond our own comfort to pray “kingdom prayers.” These prayers are praying for the Lost, for God to send workers into the harvest, for Satan to be limited in the lives of people, situations and nations. Reflect on what you are praying and may your words begin to turn to God’s issues and away from your own. —-to the praise of His glorious grace!
